About Merivale Physiotherapy Clinic

The Merivale Physiotherapy Clinic has been an established practice in Christchurch at the Merivale Clinic for over 15 years under the direction of Jan Smith.
Jan entered private practice in 1981 in Wainoni and moved to Merivale in 1991 before moving into the purposely renovated villa in the Merivale village two years later.

The St Albans Physiotherapy Clinic was established in October 1999, and in July 2000, our satellite branch at St Albans became firmly established as the preferred physiotherapy provider for St Albans Medical Centre clients.

Both of our clinic's are part of the "ACC Endorsed Provider Network". Following the introduction of an updated ACC contract, there is a co-payment of $20 for your Initial 40min consultation and $15 for any follow-up appointments. If you have any questions about this, please call us on 03 3559 775 anytime.

We have aimed to keep our fees affordable to everyone and will whenever possible help low income claimants apply to WINZ for the shortfall. Please inform us of this request before your Initial treatment.

One thing Jan can promise is that her clinics will continue to provide high quality physiotherapy services to all patients at very affordable rates.

The Merivale Physiotherapy Clinic have a highly qualified team of physiotherapists who work between the two clinic’s to provide a full range of services including manual therapy, acupuncture, pre and post surgical rehabilitation, biomechanical analysis, exercise prescription as well as electrotherapy.
 
Our friendly office staff, ably led by Jeanette and Adrienne, are usually your first point of contact at our Merivale Clinic and are very happy to assist you to see the best physiotherapist for your injury/condition as well as assist you with any account enquiries. All private accounts are issued from our head office at the Merivale Clinic.

A cancellation fee may be charged if you fail to keep an appointment or give less than four hours notice of cancellation
