Our staff are committed to providing you professional, quality care treatments and rehabilitation programmes.
As we near the festive season we reflect on a massive year. We would like to thank you for your support to family, friends and surrounding communities in Canterbury. We will continue to operate through the Christmas period with the exception of the statutory holidays (26th, 27th December and 2nd and 3rd January). Jan Smith and her staff (Livvy Read and Katherine Ludbrook) are dedicated to treating a wide range of musculoskeletal, respiratory conditions and older persons health. We understand that keeping active is a vital part of managing pain, injuries and stress. Since the earthquake events in Canterbury, many people no longer participate in regular physical activity. It is our goal to restore you to your previous functional activity. Despite earthquake interruptions Jan, Livvy and Katherine have ensured they have undertaken time out for their own professional development and have kept abreast of current research. We pride ourselves with providing quality treatment sessions of 40 minutes duration instead of short no frills sessions of 15-20 minutes. Our patient satisfaction surveys consistently comment on the quality of service they receive at our practice and the fact that we spend time explaining pathologies and discussing treatment options with them. Overall we feel this leads to better outcomes. Remember your body deserves the best of care. Merry Christmas and best wishes for the year ahead.
